The Doorpost Film Project desires to aid the seeking of truth. We believe it to be the greatest pursuit of our lives, one that will have tremendous impact beyond ourselves. There is a deep mystery to our existence, with human creativity being a formidable means of inquiry and a powerful instrument of revelation.

Honoring Creativity
The Doorpost challenges visionaries to produce films that have impact while entertaining. Our submission categories are concept based and without preference to genre or format, a deliberate decision on our part to invite films of compelling substance. The Doorpost honors the achievements of filmmakers who attain a balance of revelatory storytelling and artistic expression in their work.

Serving Visionaries
While meaningful content is vital to the Doorpost mission, our heart is in serving visionaries. We’ve heard many along the way voice the need for an advocate who encourages vision and can provide the means to see it realized. The Doorpost is committed to doing all we can to fill that need, providing opportunities and establishing fruitful relationships with people in the process. We believe this love of others is needed where dreams are left empty.

Building Community
Our belief in the value of relationship also motivates our efforts to encourage and build community among truth-seeking visionaries.
