Originally from Nashville, Tn, I moved up to Boston in '99 to attend Boston University and have lived here ever since. Now I'm living in the Cambridge area, working out of my home office, in an apartment that I share with my wife Avril and dog Rufus. Before going out on my own last summer in June of '08, I was the head of post-production for about 5 years at Soup2Nuts animation studios. While there I was fortunate enough to write, direct, and create visual effects for a multitude of children's programming and regional advertising for NBC, PBS, NICK, CARTOON NETWORK, and ADULTSWIM among others. Since leaving, I have been actively creating content for The Discovery Channel, WGBH, PBS, Animal Planet, and a handful of other independent projects.

Hi Evan! Looking forward to meeting you Thursday! I really enjoyed your work. As an editor, I was impressed by your creative editing style to compress time and convey the monotony of the central character's existence. Cool film.

evan...enjoyed your movie. loved how we see him 'make it through a day' without cigarettes...and how you seamlessly wove that idea into the bigger theme of your film. really cool work. looking forward to seeing you in nash.

Evan, nice work. Really touching story with a nice consistant flow. Well done.

Getting an audience to care about your characters and their struggle through images rather than exposition is a very difficult thing to accomplish in a film. Keep up the good work.

Hey Aaron. I thought your film was really lovely. Everything a Short should be. Check out 'Missing' if you get a chance. Phil
I just checked out Escape - what a great visual style. The combination of animation and live action was really compelling and made for some wonderful imagery.
Great job, man.
